About Us
Young Scientists is dedicated to providing in-school science field trip experiences that align with the Virginia Standards of Learning. We believe in the power of hands-on learning to deepen students’ understanding and spark a lasting appreciation for science.
Who We Are
We are a team of former educators with strong classroom management skills, engaging presentation styles, and a shared passion for making science meaningful and exciting for students. Our mission is to bring high-quality, interactive science experiences directly into schools.
What We Do

Deliver hands-on, interactive workshops tailored to the Standards of Learning.

Make science exciting and accessible for students of all ages.

Customize programs to meet the specific needs of your school or classroom—if you don’t see what you want, we’ll gladly design a workshop just for you!

Work flexibly around your schedule, including lunch periods, available resources, and class timing.

Accommodate an average of 15 students per class, with the option to combine classes as needed.

Provide a take-home activity with every workshop so learning continues beyond the classroom.
Our Approach
Designed to fully engage students, our programs make science both accessible and exciting within the school environment. We spark curiosity and encourage exploration, fostering a love of science that lasts a lifetime.
Pricing
45-60 minute workshops

ONLY $7 per child!

Order 4 DIFFERENT workshops for your grade level the price is $5 per child (per workshop)

Schedule 6 workshops and get a 7th 45 minute workshop FREE ($30 for 7 workshops!!!! ($4.28 for each workshop!!!)

We need the total number of students participating 3 days prior to the workshop and will leave materials for absent children. (We are unable to give refunds)
Science In A Day
Pick 4 different programs and for $20 each student, the classes will rotate through a day of science workshops. Ask for more information.
